State’s first Lord & Taylor Outlet Store plus Chico’s Outlet, Cotton On

& Aerosoles and a new IMAX 3D screen coming to center this year

MIAMI, March 7, 2011 – Dolphin Mall will welcome several new retailers in 2011, as it marks 10 years as Miami’s premier value shopping center and dining/entertainment destination.  The state’s first Lord & Taylor Outlet Store along with Chico’s Outlet, Cotton On and Aerosoles will join the center’s growing lineup by fall.  

Dolphin Mall is the first shopping center in Florida to debut the Lord & Taylor Outlet Store. The upscale department store’s successful new concept launched last year in New Jersey and Michigan.  As America’s oldest department store, founded in 1826, Lord & Taylor has built a reputation for high-quality merchandise and attentive customer service, and customers can expect a first-rate outlet experience, as well.  Lord & Taylor Outlet Store will offer an extensive assortment of well-known brands at outlet prices, including in-season merchandise from all major product categories such as women’s ready-to-wear, men’s clothing and sportswear, shoes, handbags, accessories and children’s.  The store is expected to open by late summer.

Also opening at Dolphin Mall by summer is Chico’s Outlet. Known for its fabulous, fashionable looks, conversation-starting jewelry and outstanding personal service, Chico’s has built a loyal following.  For more than 25 years, the brand’s chic prints, artisan jackets and unique accessories have captured the hearts of women nationwide, and now Chico’s Outlet shoppers can enjoy Chico’s style and value.

Another popular fashion trendsetter is Cotton On, renowned for its winning combination of globally relevant fashions at affordable prices. From its modest beginnings as one store in Victoria, Australia in 1991, Cotton On has quickly evolved into a fashion phenomenon with more than 750 stores worldwide.  Offering the latest looks in men’s and women’s clothing and accessories, the Cotton On megastore at Dolphin Mall will also feature intimates, sleepwear and activewear with Cotton On Body; footwear with Rubi shoes; and gifts and stationery with Typo. Cotton On opens this summer.

And those unwilling to sacrifice style for comfort will welcome Aerosoles, opening late spring. In addition to the stellar new lineup of stores, Cobb Dolphin 19 Theatres will debut a new IMAX 3D screen within its existing theatre.  Featuring state-of-the art sound and visual, Cobb IMAX 3D will open this May with the premier of the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie.  

Dolphin Mall is an enclosed value retail/entertainment/dining destination with 240 retailers, restaurants and entertainment options. It is located just five miles west of Miami International Airport, where the Dolphin Expressway and the Florida Turnpike intersect.
