MEDIA INVITED TO DOLPHIN MALL FOR "BLACK FRIDAY" RETAIL STORIES

WHO: Dolphin Mall, a 1.4 million-square-foot mall with more than 240 stores, located five miles west of Miami International Airport.

WHAT: Invites media to capture the rush of "Black Friday" bargain hunters as they jump-start their holiday shopping. The day following Thanksgiving historically has been a shopping tradition. What will be the fastest selling toy this season? How much are people willing to spend this holiday? Find out the answers to these questions at Dolphin Mall.

Dolphin Mall looks to make holiday shopping a little more jolly this year, as it will reward shoppers with some much-deserved pampering of their own this holiday season.

  • Beginning on the day after Thanksgiving (Friday, November 23), the first 100 customers at Dolphin Mall to purchase $500 worth of Dolphin Mall gift cards (in a single transaction) at the Customer Service Center will receive a $100 gift certificate from SpaFinder that is redeemable at any of nearly 4,000 spas worldwide.

  • In addition, Dolphin Mall will randomly be giving away 28 gift cards in various denominations totaling approximately $3000 to customers as they visit the mall between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Friday, November 23, 2007. Greeters at each mall entrance door will hand out glow in the dark snow flakes memorabilia that will include a tag indicating if they are a lucky winner of one of the random prize gift cards.

    The following are some of the stores that will open early and provide specials:

  • Banana Republic Factory Store will open 5 a.m. It will offer 40 percent off entire store merchandise.
  • Bass Pro Shops will open 6 a.m. It will offer various special discounted items.
  • KB Toys will open 4 a.m. The store will offer the hottest holiday toys at special prices.
  • Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th will open at 6 a.m. The store will offer 25 percent off all purchases until Noon.
  • Express will open at 7 a.m. The store will offer 20 percent off entire purchase until 11 a.m.
  • Kenneth Cole will open at 6 a.m. The store will offer 30 percent off entire purchase until 10 a.m.
  • Sam Ash Music will open at 8 a.m. It will offer no payments and pay no interest until 2009 on every item in the store. Free Digital Chromatic Tuner (GJC200SIL) with any purchase of $199.
  • Tommy Hilfiger Company Store will open at 5:45 a.m. It will offer 30 percent off the entire purchase until 9 a.m.
  • Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store will open at 6 a.m. The store will offer 20 percent off any purchase of $150 or more.

    PHOTO OPS:

  • Holiday shopping throughout the weekend. Mall hours 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Dolphin Mall's Magical Snowfall - 7 p.m. daily with additional snowfalls at 9 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Jan. 7, 2008 at the Ramblas entrance #3. There will be no snow on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve or New Years Day.
  • Experience "Fred Claus" Snow Globes, located upstairs from the Ramblas entrance #3 daily through Dec. 31, 2008.
  • Live Holiday music throughout the day.
