MIAMI, Fla., May 2, 2007 - Dolphin Mall has named Madelyn Bello as marketing & sponsorship director. She is responsible for implementing a strategic marketing and sponsorship plan for the center, developing programs and events and expanding the shopping center's tourism program.

Bello comes to Dolphin Mall after five years with The Mills Corp., most recently as director of marketing and tourism for Sawgrass Mills and The Colonnade Outlets in Sunrise, Fla. Prior to that she was director of tourism for Sawgrass Mills and its parent company. She also worked as director of marketing for Broward Mall in Plantation, Fla. and spent a year in Spain opening Madrid Xanadu.

A seasoned industry veteran, she began her career in Miami in 1996 at Dadeland Mall as marketing assistant and then moved to Cutler Ridge Mall as marketing director.

Bello attended Florida International University in Miami, where she received her bachelor's degree in marketing and international business. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
