Sam Ash Music to open a 30,000 square foot location in Dade County’s only value center.
MIAMI, FL – February 2003 - Dolphin Mall will add Sam Ash Music to its growing roster of tenants in February 2003. Sam Ash Music Corporation, the second largest musical instrument retailer in the world, is a 78-year-old family owned and operated firm with over $350,000,000.00 in sales annually. Sam Ash Music at Dolphin Mall will be occupying the space vacated by the recently bankrupt Mars Music.
The retail chain consists of a flagship store on Manhattan’s West 48th Street, with other stores in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Connecticut, Ohio, California, Tennessee and Illinois. There are 37 Sam Ash Music outlets currently in operation throughout the Untied States. The typical Sam Ash Music store is approximately 20,000 square feet. The reason for the larger than typical music industry stores is the attention to display, stock and customer service. Sam Ash Music is recognized as an industry leader in sales and innovations and has won virtually every award that the Musical Products Industry has to offer.
