DOLPHIN MALL’S FREE SHUTTLE BUS ADDS MIAMI BEACH ROUTE

MIAMI, FL – May 2002 – In an effort to reach more of the tourist market, Dolphin Mall has added a new route to its free Shuttle Bus service. The shuttle currently transports tourists to the mall from select hotels in the Miami International Airport area and Downtown Miami. The new route now transports tourists, free of charge, from Miami Beach area hotels to Dolphin Mall.

“The shuttle bus route extension to the Miami Beach area helps us accommodate those tourists who stay at the beach, but want to take advantage of the wonderful store selection and savings at Dolphin Mall,” said Lucia Plazas-Clamp, Tourism Marketing Specialist for Dolphin Mall. “The Shuttle Bus service forms part of an extensive line of Dolphin Mall tourist amenities that range from luggage size lockers to currency exchange and shipping services.”

The three routes for the 29-passenger Airport and Downtown area buses and the newest 37-passenger Miami Beach area bus include the following hotel stops:

*Airport Route #1: From the Wyndham Airport, Miami International Airport, Crowne Plaza, Marriott (Fairfield, Courtyard), Club Hotel by Doubletree Homewood Suites and Hilton Miami Airport and Towers to the mall.
*Downtown Miami Route #2: From the Hyatt Regency, Sheraton Biscayne Bay, Ramada Dupont, Best Western Marina Park, *Riande Continental, *Everglades, Doubletree Grand Hotel, *Marriott and Renaissance Miami Biscayne Bay to the mall.
*NEW Miami Beach Route #3: From the Days Inn, Holiday Inn, Roney Palace, Seville Beach Hotel, The Palms, Ramada Inn, *Fairfield Inn, Sheraton Four Points, *Best Western, *Days Inn, *Sovereign to the mall. (*Located nearby a hotel with shuttle service.)

The Dolphin Shuttle runs seven days a week, ten hours a day. The mall also can accommodate larger groups from designated hotels.

Dolphin Mall is an enclosed value retail/entertainment mall with an 850-seat food court and more than 200 retailers. It is located just five miles west of Miami International Airport, where the Dolphin Expressway and the Florida Turnpike intersect. Shoppers can access the mall by taking Exit 27 off of the Florida Turnpike. Shopping hours are 11 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
